Biirdie Update!

Hello Fellow Readers,

It has been about a month since my last post, for that, I apologize and beg thy forgiveness, no, the latter is pure bollocks. Ha!

And now for some breaking news... No, not really breaking news, but new information concerning Biirdie.

About a month ago, we, here at Pop! Music received an e-mail with information on how to provide you, the reader, with Nic Harcourt's Morning Become Eclectic podcast, in which Biirdie was featured. And though it is not breaking news, or THAT new, I am going to link you guys to where you can access the podcast or the video of them playing in Morning Becomes Eclectic, so that you can hear more of Biirdie's new album, Catherine Avenue, which came out January 22nd.

I have just checked out their website, and no new upcoming shows have been posted. You can always check their website Biirdie. If you want to buy Biirdie's album, Catherine Avenue, you should check out their myspace.

To make this update a REAL update, I have decided to add the Biirdie line up, because I just found out what it was from the albums liner notes. Here it goes:
Jared Flamm
Richard Gowen
and Kala Savage
with: Patrick Cleary
Bram Inscore
Jon Leahy
Rusty Logsdon
"Jelly" Joe Mackenzie
Wil Masisak
Bob Maynard
Oscar Schedin
Josh Schwartz
Tom Wolfe
T-Radd
and John Wood.

This is all I have for you, stay tuned for my upcoming, full version review of a gig I attended two weeks ago. I will let you know of a funny anecdote, and I will tell you why you should like Jason Hill as much as I do.

I am out, and I hope you have a good, mellow Sunday!

Sorry for the Delay

On behalf of Pop! Music, I would like to apologize for this great gap between postings. Sadly, as the semester picks up speed, I have been forced to gear my attention towards writing for another venue...college. Because of this, postings have become scarce, but I promise you, our loyal readers, that I will do everything in my power to continue to give you the latest music news.

Completely off topic statement:
If you have not seen The Diving Bell and the Butterfly you are missing out, it was amazing.
